Trump administration rolls back offshore drilling safety rules
Obama-era offshore drilling safety rules put in place after the 2010 Deepwater Horizon BP oil spill are being revoked. Interior Secretary Bernhardt said in a statement the administration was acting to eliminate “unnecessary regulatory burdens while maintaining safety and environmental protection offshore.”
