Amy Wallace is a PhD student at the University of South Florida. Part of her studies includes examining fish allantois, otoliths (ear stones), and eye lenses to see impacts on fish populations after the Deepwater Horizon event.
She recently published a paper “Stable Isotopes in Fish Eye Lenses as Potential Recorders of Trophic and Geographic History.”
